Art festival “Bouquet Kyiv Stage” will for the first time happen outside Ukraine in Oxford from September 28 till October 01, as part of the Ukrainian culture weeks 2022 and the UK/Ukraine Season.
Acclaimed Ukrainian writers join international authors in the hybrid Lviv BookForum programme, out globally now, broadcasting online 6-9 October in partnership with leading literary charity Hay Festival. This will be the 29th edition of Lviv BookForum, Ukraine’s biggest literary festival, aiming to create a civic space for a free and tolerant exchange of ideas between writers and readers around the world.

Lviv BookForum and HAY festival unveil free hybrid programme
The Greenwich+Docklands International Festival annually gathers more than 80,000 visitors in the open air to watch theatrical, choreographic, musical, circus performances and art installations. This year, Ukraine was represented at a leading art event in London with an animated projection of mosaics Discover Ukraine: Bits Destroyed, as part of the UK/Ukraine Season of Culture.

Ukrainian mosaics installation at the Greenwich+Docklands International Festival
On October 6 – 9, 2022, the 29th International BookForum will be held in Lviv. This year, due to the full-scale invasion of Russia on the territory of Ukraine, not only the dates of the event have been changed, but also the format of the event.

Thanks to the support of one of the world's largest literary festivals, the Hay Festival (Great Britain), the event will be broadcast to the whole world. One hundred special guests will be able to attend the event in an offline format by personal invitation.

Book Arsenal will present its special programme at the Cheltenham Literature Festival as part of UK/Ukraine Season of Culture

As well as this, four films, directed and produced by Ukrainian creatives, will be presented at EIFF Works in Progress. British Council and Ukrainian Institute launch Season to support Ukrainian arts sector
This year Ukraine participated in the London Book Fair with a national stand focusing on non-fiction books. The main aim was to present those publications that would help to understand Ukraine and its ancient and modern history and culture, as well as the reasons for the current war.
